Reef Systems seeking VP of BD, DHA

“Reef Systems Corp is seeking an experienced business developer that can assume executive responsibilities in growing our federal business. We have a successful track record doing business with the Department of Defense (DoD), Defense Health Agency (DHA), and other federal agencies. The successful business developer will use our successful history to take the company to the next level.”

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and successfully deliver across all phases of business development to include opportunity identification, qualification, proposal management and closing of business.
  • Anticipate and resolve potential problems and deliver effective solutions for customer challenges and problems.
  • Assist with the composition and execution of the business development plan.
  • Provide expertise across the organization to assist in achieving annual revenue targets.
  • Compose and execute winning proposals for U.S. Government and DoD customers providing end-to-end solutions in.
  • Identify, pursue, capture, win new business opportunities in the federal sector.
  • Manage the Company’s business pipeline by prioritizing and engaging in aggressive captures.
  • Develop pipeline with the objective of not only achieving profitable growth, but posturing Reef Systems as a competitive provider of contract employees’ solutions to the U.S. Government. Engage U.S. Government Customers building awareness of Reef Systems capabilities.
  • Manage a systematic program of customer engagements to collect actionable business intelligence to shape future business opportunities.
  • Expand current strategic partner relationships and execute to win new business by developing and enhancing relationships with small business and end-to-end network providers for strategic business opportunities, including teaming partners who can position Reef Systems to deliver winning proposals.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree or higher in business administration, sales or relevant field from an accredited college or university.
  • A minimum of 3 to 5 years of successful business development experience in the government sector.
  • A proven sales track record.
  • In-depth knowledge of the market.
  • Excellent communication and negation skills.
  • Ability to easily build rapport.
  • Superior time management and organizational skills.
  • Prior military service is a definite plus.
