As the Division of Enterprise Solutions and Application Management (DESAM) Deputy Director, you will provide leadership, consultation, assistance, and IT services in the definition and application of agency business applications architectures, the engineering of business processes, the building and deployment of applications, and the development, maintenance and management of enterprise systems and data collections efforts.
Responsibilities:
- Providing leadership in analyzing the impact of various threat-mitigation strategies in close partnership with system owners including performing cost/benefit analysis and lead expert advisor to the DESAM Director in development and implementation of threat management, balancing the need with adequate resources, in order to ensure timely completion.
- Managing the strategic, personnel, infrastructure, policy enforcement, and emergency planning implications of information security.
- Reviews annual security control test plans, IT contingency test plans and evaluation reports.
- Serving as an agency technical authority for new and advanced application software that affects agency-wide automated systems.
- Overseeing the work of the organizational unit as the Deputy Director, including exercising supervisory authority and responsibility, planning, managing, organizing, and evaluating all project activities.
- Exercising delegated authority in providing leadership and guidance regarding the full administrative and human resources management functions relative to the staff supervised.
