Peraton seeks Senior Director, Healthcare Information Systems and Shared Services, CMS

“The selected individual will support growth while providing mission critical healthcare technology solutions in support of the client’s mission. The individual ability to demonstrate strategic vision to meet both current and future mission needs is key, by having strong customer engagement, strong people skills, and strong communication skills.” 

Responsibilities: 

  • “Lead teams that direct all phases of contracts/task orders in the portfolio from inception through completion which includes cost, schedule and technical, performance. 
  • Proven ability to meet and exceed business goals and targets utilizing both inside and outside market perspectives, by providing asymmetrical thinking and non-linear strategies for growth. 
  • Accountable for the successful execution of the current business as well as for the growth and expansion of the accounts and into adjacent accounts. 
  • Depending on opportunity size, leads or partners with Sales Leadership to develop and execute strategies and plans necessary to meet the organization’s revenue growth objectives. 
  • Depending on opportunity size, leads or supports major proposals personally, or through subordinate program/project managers. 
  • Responsible for program-level P&L. 
  • Formulate business strategy, financial and execution plans for achieving financial objectives. 
  • Develop and deliver required contract, departmental, project and/or financial reports. 
  • Develop Quality Assurance Programs for all products and services.” 

Basic Qualifications: 

  • “Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 18+ years of related professional work experience managing cross functional teams, to include technical/ non-technical, and leading large scale projects/programs. 
  • Must have at least five years as a manager and demonstrated experience with sales and P&L management. 
  • Experience providing customer insight to the larger team and ability to bring outside-in strategic thinking to the organization. 
  • Established experience as a team leader; developing and leading high-performance teams to establish direction and motivate members to achieve objectives. 
  • Proven ability to develop and execute integrated strategies that capture opportunities across businesses and drive profitable growth. 
  • Must have experience mentoring and developing senior leaders within their organization.” 

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • “Experience with Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS). 
  • Excellent presentation and verbal and written communication skills, including effective reporting of operations, issues and performance. 
  • Established relationships with Executives, Directors and other senior leaders at CMS. 
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification.”
