“In collaboration with business development and technical execution stakeholders, you will expand Palantir’s footprint in the U.S. Civil Government, particularly within the Federal health space, by developing and executing strategy for new customer acquisition and writing compelling proposals and market research documents that influence and win contracts.”
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with counterparts in engineering, legal, sales, and leadership teams to shape strategy for U.S. Government outreach and shepherd engagements from initial meeting to contract signing, including handling all written communications and proposals.
- Serve as a primary author and project manager on Market Research, RFI, and RFP responses.
- Identify, research, and qualify new customers and opportunities in the U.S. Civilian sector in collaboration with the broader business development team, engineering teams, and leadership. This includes researching, gathering news, and providing insights regarding potential opportunities, agencies of interest, or relevant current events.
- Develop deep familiarity with Palantir’s software platforms and how they can be used to solve a wide range of real-world problems.
- Develop new ways to improve the proposal development process and streamline our procedures.
- Refine messaging and value proposition in written content; transform complex technical concepts into persuasive proposals, white papers, project vision statements, and other business documents.
Requirements:
- At least four years of experience in a role that requires significant writing and/or communications strategy in support of complex projects [OPTIONAL: please note any experience you may have within a role within the US Civilian Health sector]
- Ability to translate technical concepts and differentiators through concise and compelling written and verbal communication
- Strong attention to detail when crafting documents (e.g., correct grammar, consistent formatting, attention to customer language choice)
- Ability to generate and communicate novel ideas, contribute to and execute against strategic plans, and learn about technical concepts independently
- Demonstrated project management skills and ability to work effectively while navigating ambiguity
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including: (1) collaborating with a team on a joint output; (2) collaborating across departments / agencies / roles; (3) leading projects that require input from multiple stakeholders
