“This position requires a dynamic, highly engage Operations executive who has the passion and capability to build team, foster relationships with customers and improve the companies posture in the responsible domain. In this role, the Director of Operation will continuously engage customers to enhance the customer experience and extend business within their work program. He/she will be responsible for leading, managing and providing execution oversight of Technatomy Program Management and Technical Delivery across all projects and a variety of customers.”
Responsibilities:
- “Proactively engage customers for reviews, project performance and execution
- The Director of Operations is responsible for providing oversight in developing project plans and resources estimates, monitoring and tracking project execution and ensuring budgets and timelines are met within the requirements of contracts.
- Develop and maintain productive relationships with the Company’s customers and senior management.
- Manage expectations of service delivery and direct staff to accomplish deadlines.
- Support planning levels of effort (LOE’s) for proposal support, developing project road maps, setting milestones, assigning tasks and resources, setting objectives, and meeting contract scopes of work.
- Ensure proper staffing of all projects, on time delivery of all deliverables and report findings to senior client stakeholders and practice area leadership, as required.
- Must be able to develop and implement corrective action plans and engage customers in the event a project becomes in jeopardy.”
Qualifications
- “10 or more years of professional consulting experience with experience in customer engagement and independently leading groups and project work plans.
- Significant experience (5+ years) working with & in the Department of Veteran Affairs.
- Experience leading large programs and projects, preferably in a consulting environment, developing work plans, coordinating resources to meet deadlines and tracking staff contributions.
- Must have experience in engaging senior government officials, customers at all levels and develop relationships.
- Ability to succeed in a dynamic environment and produce deliverables within tight timeframes.
- Successful performance in business development (e.g., developing customer relationships, account strategies, developing a qualified pipeline, building industry relationships, and leading capture and proposal activities).”
