Jose “Pepe” Cervantes, an industry leader who most recently served as the Acting Assistant Director, Pre-Discharge and Interagency Staff at VA, has taken on a new challenge as Chief of Systems Planning and Operations at Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). This new role is within the Systems Support and Operational Review Staff in the Veterans Benefits Administration’s Compensation Service business line.
Jose brings perspective gained leading a team in the oversight of inter-agency memorandum of agreements, interagency computer matching agreements and military payment operations.
