“VA owns IBM’s Maximo™ Enterprise Asset Management Software v.7.6.1.2 (Maximo) with an unlimited number of user licenses. This enterprise asset and service management program is entitled Maximo Enterprise Asset and Work Management (EAWM).  The Maximo EAWM project consolidates and replaces the asset, inventory, and work order management functionality performed by multiple legacy applications into a single web-based system, providing the Department with enterprise visibility into billions of dollars of assets owned and managed by VA.  It reduces VA’s long-term technology and operation costs by providing a standardized solution across all administrations and serves as a system of record for critical asset information.”

“VHA appointed the Supply Chain System Program Office (SCSPO) to manage and provide executive direction for the Maximo EAWM project, which is based in VA’s Central Office located in Washington, DC…”

“The scope of this effort is to provide SCSPO with project management, technical, and Operations and Maintenance (O&M) support services for Maximo EAWM.”
