HHS HRSA seeking DESAM Branch Chief

“As a Branch Chief, you will serve as a recognized technical expert in IT security and provide critical program development and project leadership contribution to designated DESAM operations and strategic initiatives. This work affects the ability of OIT/DESAM to provide quality IT support and in the delivery of cost-effective, customer focused products and services that support HRSA business needs to mission requirements.” 

“Specifically, you will: 

  • Supervise the staff assigned the Branch, and provide feedback/suggestion to DESAM management on all Branch activities relative to Enterprise Solutions and Application Management. 
  • Analyze information security systems and applications to recommend security measures for protecting information against unauthorized access to systems, networks, and data modifications or less. 
  • Plan, research design, implement and maintain robust security principles in the delivery of all IT systems. 
  • Manage for all aspects of project life cycle activities in the assigned DESAM Branch.”
