Datix has been awarded an $8M Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) IDIQ contract for credentials verification organization for non-CCN providers (recompete).
“The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Veterans Health Administration (VHA), Office of Community Care (OCC), requires services to credential and monitor non-VA health care providers that furnish hospital care, medical services, or extended care services to Veterans under VA’s Veteran Community Care Program (VCCP). VCCP encompasses different programs including the Community Care Network (CCN) and Veterans Care Agreements (VCA). A primary goal of VA’s community care program is patient safety for all Veterans served by VA. To achieve this goal, VA must ensure non-VA health care providers are medically qualified and competent to provide care prior to referring Veterans for community care from such providers. The credentials verification services and monitoring services identified in this contract and Performance Work Statement (PWS) directly support and facilitate VA’s efforts to assess and/or monitor the medical qualifications and competence of non-VA health care providers who furnish hospital care, medical services, or extended care services to Veterans pursuant to Veterans Care Agreements (VCA) entered into by VA under the authority set forth at 38 U.S.C. § 1703A or other contracts or agreements entered into and administered by VA. These providers are referred to in the contract as ‘non-CCN providers’…”
