“The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Technology Acquisition Center (TAC) is seeking information concerning the availability of capable contractors to provide Utilization Management Software Tool with Veterans Health Administration (VHA) enterprise-wide licensing that includes unlimited use, updates, and clinical and technical support for evidence-based criteria and the associated tools identified in the Performance Work Statement (PWS that interface seamlessly into the National Utilization Management Integration (NUMI) application and the Electronic Health Record (EHR). In addition, the Contractor shall provide training to certify and maintain certification for trainers throughout the VHA.”

The government-owned, NUMI application and Electronic Health Record (EHR) standardizes clinical appropriateness review of patient care at over 150 VHA facilities by integrating evidence-based clinical criteria into the application to assist clinicians and managers in care management decisions.”
