“Background:
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has a workforce of about 25,000 people globally. Most of these individuals will report to a CDC facility or other facility (e.g., labs, universities, health departments) requiring proof of vaccination or negative COVID-19 test. There are different criteria based on staff type (e.g., federal employee, contractor). In addition, CDC travels staff to foreign and domestic locations to help with public health issues. Global travel requirements relating to COVID-19 are changing and depending on location, some countries are requiring COVID-19 electronic verifiable tests and/or vaccine proof for entry. Some facilities and countries have also adopted policies that require electronic verifiable vaccination proof in order to be exempt from quarantine.”

CDC is seeking to understand contractors’ capabilities to provide electronically verifiable vaccination record and/or electronically verifiable test results for CDC personnel. In addition, CDC would like to understand contractors’ ability to import information on CDC personnel, provided by CDC systems, which drive access requirements. CDC has travelers departing from various locations within the United States. CDC typically travels approximately 5,000 employees to foreign locations each year to a wide variety of locations…”
