“Period of Performance: One year with the option to extend the term of the contract”
“Scope of Work: Up to 400 license subscriptions to accommodate the VISN 23 Physical Therapy (PT), Occupational Therapy (OT), Speech Pathology (SP), and Blind Rehabilitation (BR) facility staff. The need for an electronic format for both patient education via a home exercise program for Veterans as well as continuing education for staff in one concise program.”
“Specifications:
- System selected offers the option to provide HEPs electronically to meet the need of therapy programs developed via telehealth
- System selected is accessible by all therapists regardless of work location (i.e. Not limited to a specific computer in a single location where the program is available)
- System selected will be cloud based to negate need to ongoing IT support
- System will be free of vendor advertisements to ensure there is no perception of bias or favoritism.
- System will offer a broad array of exercises in a standardized, consistent format to meet the broad needs of the Veteran population served
- System will use images of actual people as opposed to cartoon or stick figures to provide a more accurate, repeatable movement demonstration
- System will offer videos for patient education
- A consistent program will be used across providers to allow continuity of care between therapists through the ability to see specifically what previous HEP was provided
- System will not require PHI be entered to ensure Veteran privacy
- System selected will allow for programs to be saved and templates to be developed to save therapist time and increase efficiency
- System used will offer programs to be developed in multiple languages
- System will not require EHR connection
- System will offer continuing education to meet accreditation requirements
- Continuing education offerings will support therapists pursing specialty areas of practice
- Continuing education offerings will include videos on clinical tests and outcome measures to support VISN wide implementation of the use of standardized outcome measures
- Assigned/Dedicated vendor manager to assist in assigning the license(s) and supporting VISN REC ICC in assignment.
- System is all-inclusive and provide all the above within one system and not various systems to complete requirements.
