CDC awards $128M in Population Health Surveillance IT, Data Modernization, Data Use Cluster tasks

This major Federal Health player, who can lay claim to a 20-year history of helping CDC and HHS respond quickly and effectively to major public health events, has been awarded a slew of new tasks with CDC over the past week or so with work to include population health surveillance it and data modernization support services; supporting an online database that contains information about more than 2,400 rare disease-causing microbes; and continuing support to develop and implement the National Diabetes Prevention Program Operations Center.
