VA OIG seeking Publications Chief

“As a Supervisory Publications Chief, you will: 

  • Serve as the primary advisor to the Director of the Office of Communications and Public Affairs in the Immediate Office of the Inspector General. 
  • Manage and conduct a VAOIG-wide coordinated program and operation controlling the development, production, procurement, printing and electronic fielding of VAOIG publications. 
  • Direct a publications staff to support a 1,000-plus workforce in planning and developing VAOIG-wide publishing objectives, policies, projects, systems, and methods required to ensure that the publishing services needs of proponents and publications products users are satisfied in a timely, efficient, and economical manner. 
  • Formulate and disseminate plans, policies, and program objectives designed to promote quality customer publishing services. 
  • Provide general direction, and broad policies and objectives for the management and operation of functional elements of the publications branch, including publication management, automation systems management, electronic media management, publications product acquisition, and resources management.”
