The software is to be supported in the form of customer service and inclusive of all related software upgrades & optimization enhancements necessary to perform utilization review functions for the full term of the contract.”

BACKGROUND: WRSU needs a web-based software product that delivers evidence-based clinical criteria intended to assist Utilization Review staff apply objective, specific clinical criteria to ensure patients meet the CMS Conditions of Participation definition of medical necessity. The software will ensure objective, consistent, defensible decision-making to reduce financial and regulatory risk related to delivery of healthcare services in the appropriate level of care. The software will be utilized by the Utilization Review nurses, and available to all admitting providers at Whiteriver Indian Hospital.”
“C. SCOPE OF REQUIREMENT: IMPLEMENTATION AND SERVICES:
The Contractor shall provide:
- Software to include Acute Adult and Pediatric Criteria Guidelines
- System Implementation: services to ensure that software installed at WRSU is operational and that site administrators have been oriented to enable them to manage, update and operate the software systems
- Technical & Software Support: standard telephone and online support to WRSU’s Authorized Support Contacts during normal RQIP Support Hours (generally Monday-Friday, 8 am to 8pm)
- Access Options; Desktop, Mobile, Cloud
- Software Education & Training Options; Webinars, White Paper Training
