“The División of Environmental Protection (DEP) hosts and supports two internet sites. The first site is publicly accessible and the second is restricted to government personnel. Each site is tailored to the needs of the respected audience. The National Institutes of Health (NIH) has recently mandated that all internet sites be housed in the latest iteration of SharePoint (2016). There is a need to convert web site information from the previously used version SharePoint 2013 to be compatible with the new version of SharePoint.”
“Project Requirements and Scope of Work:
- There is a need to migrate site content to SharePoint. Contractor must consult with appropriate government official to determine if content is still valid and is eligible to be migrated.
- The contractor must notify and communicate with government official before migrating the data.
- The contractor must verify all hyper links are current and direct to the proper content. If any hyperlinks are outdated, they are to work with the government official to attain the proper address.
- Communicate and manage any technical difficulties or discrepancies that may accompany the migration of data content.
- The data migration should not negatively impact daily operations nor incur the loss of any data.
- Ensure that the proper permissions and established technical hierarchies (roles, permissions etc.) are consistent with the site.
- Develop migration validation test scripts for government official to verify that all agreed data has been successfully migrated.”
