“This RFI is seeking information about a mobile threat defense (MTD) product solution to be part of the current mobile infrastructure to better secure its users’ data and resources. FDA mobile users are utilizing a variety of iOS and Android devices and there is a requirement to identify mobility risks through a product that integrates mobile device vulnerability assessment and management capabilities. FDA does not currently have a Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) program; all devices are government furnished equipment (GFE).”
“FDA is requesting that vendors ensure that the responses provided can meet requirement identified in this RFI. FDA is particularly interested in information regarding technology advances and technical capabilities that are currently available. Submissions will be used by FDA to determine the maturity of the market and the state of the industry to meet FDA requirement.”
