VA taps recent Principal Deputy Under Secretary for Benefits to serve as Chief Learning Officer

Margarita Devlin, armed with perspective gained supporting Veterans Affairs for more than two decades through a series of progressively responsible roles including recent experience serving as second in command in the Veterans Benefits Administration (VBA), and prior experience leading policy development, planning, training, and quality assurance for VBA’s Direct Contact Services, takes on a new challenge as Chief Learning Officer with VA.

In her new role she will lead the development and implementation of administration-wide employee learning and development policies and programs for the VHA workforce.

In posting the move Margarita noted: As I begin the next phase of my leadership journey, I am excited to continue my passion and commitment to lifelong learning through serving as the Veteran Health Administration’s Chief Learning Officer.
