New Pandemic Response Accountability Committee adds Chief Data Officer from industry

Brien Lorenze, a private-sector executive with over two decades of experience helping organizations assess and mitigate emerging governance, risk and compliance issues, has taken on a new challenge as Chief Data Officer of the Pandemic Response Accountability Committee (PRAC).

The PRAC composed of federal Offices of Inspector General was created under the CARES Act to “promote transparency and conduct and support oversight of covered funds and the Coronavirus response to (1) prevent and detect fraud, waste, abuse, and mismanagement; and (2) mitigate major risks that cut across program and agency boundaries.”

Prior roles include:

  • Principal and Solution Executive – Deloitte
  • Principal and Global Public Sector Leader – Deloitte
  • Principal and Sector and Account Leader – Deloitte
