VA OEHRM seeking Assistant Chief Technology and Integration Officer

“The incumbent of this position is a Supervisory Information Technology {IT} Specialist, GS-2210-15 located in the Technology and Integration Office {TIO}, functioning as the Assistant Chief Technology and Integration Officer within the Department of Veterans Affairs {VA} Office of Electronic Health Record Modernization {OEHRM}, within the Office of the Deputy Secretary of VA {DEPSECVA}.” 

“Major Duties: 

  • Plans and directs the overall work through subordinate supervisors. 
  • Creates and implements change management strategies and plans that maximize employee adoption and usage and minimize resistance. 
  • Serves as an advisor and technical consultant to TIO, OEHRM, VA, DOD and other top officials, on operational issues. 
  • Provides cross coordination in monitoring and managing cross-cutting assumptions, constrains, risks and dependencies, shepherding through various governance structures as appropriate. 
  • Develops, manages, and delivers regular program reviews to provide OEHRM leadership with strategic assessments of TIO Operations and its workforce, risk management activities, change management initiatives, and metrics /analytics to increase program effectiveness and efficiencies.”
