Maureen Falvella, most recently responsible for overseeing cybersecurity policy and operations to protect the NHLBI IT infrastructure and the larger NIH OCIO and NIH Incident Response Teams, has taken on a new challenge as Acting Chief information Security Officer at National Heart, Lung, and Blood institute.
In her new role Maureen will strategically lead cybersecurity program in support of the NHLBI medical healthcare mission, by protecting information assets, and associated technology, including applications, systems, infrastructure, and processes within a complex biomedical, academic, and administrative environment.
