Solicitation Number: 36C10A20Q0299

“The Personnel Security Adjudication Center (PSAC) seeks to purchase a Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS), low-code Business Process Management (BPM) application and Microsoft Structured Query Language (SQL) (or comparable non-proprietary Relational DBMS) that will allow the PSAC to model and manage its unique business processes and work flows; with the capability of being customized to service a disparate group of users and other government agency customers.”

“Because the PSAC business processes are unique, not common or duplicated across other government agencies, and dynamic, the PSAC requests a live demonstration of functionality, configurability, and no-code/low-code development tools and activities to confirm that products exist in the marketplace with the capability of modeling and automating the PSAC business processes and workflows…”

The product demonstration shall consist of three demonstration tracks.  The first track will be demonstrations of how the COTS application would implement, control, and present individual work processes or tasks as defined in 2.1 below.  The second track will be a demonstration of how to build an end-to-end process/workflow for a PSAC product or service as defined in 2.2 below.  The third track will be a demonstration of the low-code development and/or scripting environment and interfaces; with emphasis on how the inherent tools and interfaces allow complex controls and unattended activities to be implemented by trained Information Technology staff of the PSAC.  Within the business context of the PSAC, a Request and a Case refer to different points in the Workflow of a product.  For the remainder of this document, the single term Request will be used.
