Responsibilities:
- Govplace is currently seeking candidates to serve as a Program Manager on a large GSA based contract within the federal healthcare space.
- The Program Manager will be responsible for the successful management, monitoring and execution of all aspects of the contract.
- The Program Manager will lead day-to-day project activities, customer and partner communication and will be responsible for resources across both technical and administrative functions in support of the program.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field i.e. Business, Computer Science, Engineering
- 10+ years of experience working in a combination of, engineering and project or program management
- 4+ years of experience with cloud specific concepts and work
- Strong understanding of and experience in managing large complex projects or programs following industry best practices specifically related to ITIL Foundations, System Development Lifecycle, Agile or Waterfall Methodologies.
- PMP Certification and ITIL v3 foundations or similar certifications.
- Ability to obtain if do not already have advanced/professional AWS Engineering certifications and other relevant Cloud Service Providers certifications
- Deep understanding of cloud technology concepts, cloud service providers and SaaS offerings – ability to get hands on technically with engineers if needed
- Familiarity with all major Cloud Service Providers (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google GCP)
