Excentium seeking Health Chief Technologist & Solutions Architect – VA/DHA focus

“Excentium is looking for a Chief Technologist & Solutions Architect with Health-IT experience across the VA and DHA as well as other DoD and Federal Civilian agencies.”

“Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical leadership, vision and direction in implementing enterprise information technology practices.
  • Extensive solutions-oriented experience is needed with a comprehensive understanding of Cybersecurity, Cloud technology, Network Services, and emerging technologies to deliver true value to our customers.
  • Guide multidisciplinary teams through development of complex solutions in a very fast-paced and demanding environment.
  • Work with vendors throughout the industry to evaluate upcoming products and determine their feasibility/value to customers
  • Review timeframes and budget
  • Lead the architecture, design, and development effort for projects and work to identify and manage technical risk
  • Support innovation efforts and identify technology and solution roadmaps to improve mission capabilities…”

“Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in computer engineering or a related discipline
  • Experience with technology relative to industry such as; .Net, C#, SQL Server, Oracle DB, MongoDB, Solr, jQuery, Angular, AWS, Azure, IIS, GitHub, Grunt/Gulp, Node.JS, Java/C
  • Minimum of 10+ years of relevant industry experience
  • Intimate knowledge of systems architecture and operations
  • System integration (hardware, software, network, server, storage, virtualization and database)…”
