VA shares details of newly inked $125M Oracle Enterprise License Agreement task

Emergent, LLC has been awarded an Oracle Enterprise License Agreement (ELA) contract. The contract was awarded using the SEWP contract vehicle.

  1. Description of Action: The proposed action is for a firm-fixed price delivery order issued under the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) Solutions for  Enterprise-Wide Procurement (SEWP) V Governmentwide Acquisition Contract (GWAC) for the procurement of brand name Oracle Enterprise License Agreement that  includes software maintenance and additional licenses for brand name Oracle products.
  2. Description of the Supplies or Services: VA, Office of Information and Technology, Office of Strategic Sourcing has a requirement for an Enterprise License Agreement (ELA) that includes software maintenance and additional licenses for Brand Name Oracle products. Oracle software products provide underlying core functionality (Oracle Database and Middleware software) crucial for the development and deployment of many new VA applications as well as applications already relying on Oracle software products. Oracle software has already been implemented in support of a wide range of VA applications critical to the operation and success of the VA enterprise. Some of these systems and applications include, but are not limited to the following:
  • CERNER Millennium Electronic Health Record Modernization (EHRM);
  • Defense Medical Logistics Standard Support;
  • Financial Management & Business Transformation;
  • Vet Health Info Sys and Tech Architecture;
  • MyHealtheVet (MHV);
  • Loan Guarantee Service;
  • Admin Healthcare Data Repository/Health Data Repository (HOR);
  • Veterans Benefits Management Systems;
  • Veterans Relationship Management;
  • Virtual Lifetime Electronic Records;
  • Veterans Service Network;
  • Inquiry Routing & Information System using Saas;
  • Electronic Benefit System;
  • Chap 33 (Post9/11 GI Bill); Financial Services Center;
  • Heath Administration Center; Enterprise Data Warehouse;
  • Performance Analysis and Integrity Office;
  • Enterprise Ops;
  • Benefits Gateway System;
  • Canteen Services Retail Operations;
  • Cemetery and Monuments Management;
  • Human Resource Management System;

And applications supporting operations at:

Quantico Information Technology Center; Hines Information Technology Center; Austin Information Technology Center; and the Million Veteran Program for genomic research.
