DHA to award CliniComp EHR sustainment IDIQ

Solicitation: HT0011-20-D-0003

The Defense Health Agency (DHA) intends to award a contract to CliniComp International, Inc., 9555 Towne Center Drive, San Diego, CA 92121-5549 on a noncompetitive basis for up to Six and one-half Years [six (6) months (base period) plus six (6) one-year options], for sustainment of CliniComp EHR (“Electronic Health Records”) [formerly Clinical Information System Essentris].  Services include hardware and software maintenance; parts & replacement equipment; technical and customer support; automated system monitoring; repair; software updates; configuration assistance; and cutover support to successor system(s).

CliniComp EHR, a modified Commercial off the Shelf (COTS) product, is a mission-critical comprehensive clinical documentation system in use by DHA’s Medical Treatment Facilities since 1988. The system is currently deployed at 64 sites and requires hardware and software maintenance with periodic information assurance evaluations.

CliniComp International, Inc. attests it does not license the right to install, operate, modify and/or maintain its EHR system or its software to any other business concern, public or private. It is the only source qualified and capable of performing the work at a reasonable price due to this proprietary ownership.
