CDC Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO) seeking Chief of Identity and Access Management Branch

“The incumbent serves as a Branch Chief in the Identity and Access Management Branch with responsibility for directing and managing enterprise-wide identity, access, directory and authentication services for the quality and integrity of the Identity and Access Management process.”

Responsibilities:

  • Create, implement and oversee enterprise identity and access management systems (IAM) to meet specific security needs.
  • Develop and maintain CDC’s strategies and designs and deploy identification standards for Federal employees, contractors and external partners.
  • Design, implement and deploy IAM services, perform identity attribute management, and manage identity governance for the enterprise.
  • Prepare and implement strategic and operational plans of actions to ensure that systems, procedures, staffing, support services and capacity are available when needed.
  • Design and deploy IAM strategies and solutions across a variety of platforms.
  • Provide a centralized directory service with oversight as well as visibility into all aspects of CDC’s user base.
  • Conduct access and security audits to identify vulnerabilities within existing systems.
  • Provide leadership and managerial direction to subordinate staff responsible for providing information security management and the rigorous application of cybersecurity/information assurance policies, principles, and practices in the delivery of planning and management services to all components of the enterprise.
