“The purpose of this contract is to assist the Clinical Support Division (CSD) in assessing and improving the quality of care delivered under the TRICARE benefit across the direct and purchased care systems. This contract will assist DHA in decreasing unwarranted variation in the quality of medical care, implementing proven clinical and business practices, and creating an environment for learning and continuous improvement across the MHS. This contract will also support DHA with the management of clinical quality performance measurement to validate the quality of care.”
“The objectives of this contract are twofold: To support the MHS mission of greater integration of the direct and purchased care delivery systems, and to support the MHS’s Quadruple Aim of Readiness, Population Health, Experience of Care, and Control per Capita Cost.”
The contract performs the following services:
- Healthcare Effectiveness Data and Information Set (HEDIS) data analysis and an annual HEDIS measures methodology compliance audit,
- Joint Commission ORYX hospital quality measures data collection, submission and reporting,
- Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services Hospital Compare measures data collection submission and reporting,
- Standard of care (SOC) and quality of care (QOC) case reviews by clinical peers…
