NIH Center for Information Technology seeking Chief of Network Services

“This position is located in Network Services, Office of IT Services Management (ITSM), Center for Information Technology (CIT).”

Responsibilities:

  • Serves as the Chief of Network Services, and is responsible for providing management, leadership, direction, coordination and day-to-day guidance for the Network Services Team.
  • Provide integrated planning, management, and strategy across all network services, including wireless. cellular, security functions, remote access and VPN.
  • Advises Director, Deputy Director and senior staff on all aspects of the Center’s services.
  • Ensures secure and reliable operational availability of all IT infrastructure and related services 24 hours a day.
  • Manages continuity of operations during emergencies.
  • Manages the planning, execution, operation and assessment of the Center for Information Technology (CIT) Information Technology services.
