Navy Medical Research Center RFI: Information Technology Support Services

The Fleet Logistics Center Norfolk, Virginia is seeking information on qualified and experienced sources for planning purposes in an effort to derive a contract vehicle that will provide contractor support for Navy Medical Research Center, in supporting Information Technology Support Services. Support services for this requirement are performed in Silver Spring, Fort Detrick, and Bethesda, MD.

This (DRAFT) Performance Work Statement (PWS) outlines the IT Support Services that shall be required of a contractor to support the computer users, network devices and general day-to-day IT operations of the NMRC.

Provision of IT support services to manage and maintain the NMRC networks and systems to ensure consistent network connectivity, network security, internet access, user accounts, e-mail services, applications support, information assurance support, operate a local help desk and provide customer support.  The primary goals of the contractor shall be to: ensure the NMRC networks and systems deliver a consistently high level of performance; reliability; develop and provide high quality solutions; and that customers received excellent service that resolves issues quickly.  The contractor will directly support the NMRC Chief Information Officer with information technology oversight and collaboration roles.
