The specific purpose of this RFI is to obtain information to support the Provider Reimbursement Review Board’s (PRRB) initiative to transfer its paper case documents into its electronic system, OH CDMS (Office of Hearings Case and Document Management System).
In order to effectively and efficiently utilize OH CDMS, OH is seeking information on potential solutions to scan the paper copies and input the case information and documentation in OH CDMS. Prospective contractors must be able to:
- Scan high volumes of paper accurately and efficiently;
- Keep case files organized as papers are moved;
- Grasp appealed issues and concepts;
- Categorize case file documentation;
- Keep case files secure…
The contractor will be expected to hire a team that will scan the files, categorize the files, upload the files, and identify the information needed to enter into the system along with the files. CMS will be able to consult on more difficult questions and access to the files and the system; however, the team will be expected to have some technical knowledge, to complete this specific contract. The contractor is expected to provide its own equipment to complete the project.
