US Army Medical Research Acquisition Activity awards contract for CDMS Software Licenses and Sustainment

The U.S. Army Medical Research Acquisition Activity (USAMRAA) intends to issue a Sole Source Contract to Omnicomm Systems, Inc. 2101 W Commercial BLVD STE 3500, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33309 on a Sole Source basis, for the following:

The requirement is to provide software, provide Information Assurance compliance, provide FDA compliance, and provide professional services to: support USAMRIID’s Investigational New Drug (IND) Program, and maintain a Food and Drug Administration (FDA) compliant database management system that is used to store Clinical Data.

This CDMS software is used to manage the data involved in new and ongoing clinical trials. This new Contract will provide for annual software licenses and software maintenance / professional services support. Intellectual data rights to this software are proprietary to Omnicomm Systems for all aspects of the services that are provided to USAMRIID. Omnicomm Systems is the only company capable of supplying the licenses, maintenance, and software upgrades necessary to keep the product current. No other vendor supports this COTS application.
