It is the Government s intent to award a sole source contract to Vecna Technologies under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1 entitled, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements, for continued operations, maintenance, and reporting for currently deployed VetLink kiosks throughout the Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Centers and Community-Based Outpatient Clinics. However, in accordance with FAR 5.207(c) (16) (ii), all responsible sources may submit a capability statement which shall be considered by the Agency.
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Veterans Health Administration, Veterans Point of Service (VPS) Program Office requires a comprehensive range of project management, system administration support, extended warranty, and performance management sustainment support for currently deployed VPS Kiosks.
The Contractor shall have the single point of responsibility for the operation, maintenance and reporting of the VetLink hardware and software solution.
The Contractor shall provide system administration support to include operations and maintenance support services, inclusive of a three-tier service desk as well as technical sustainment and system performance and capacity monitoring. The Contractor shall provide information assurance support to include information system authorization, testing, and continuous monitoring.
The Contractor shall provide extended warranty support to include repair and replacement in accordance with extended warranty terms and conditions.
