The Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ) of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services is soliciting proposals on a small business set-aside basis for a Multiple Award Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract, to perform program evaluations using the most appropriate methods and approaches for determining the effects of AHRQ’s activities in specific populations as well as general knowledge transfer, diffusion, and adoption.
Task orders will cover a wide range of planning and evaluation activities including:
- Evaluating Agency-sponsored products through targeted, small-scale efforts.
- Performing program evaluations including all current and future programs including: Patient Safety, Health Services Research, Data and Dissemination, Transforming Healthcare by Maximizing Value, Health Information Technology, U.S. Preventive Services Task Force, and the Medical Expenditures Panel Survey.
- Performing quick turnaround analyses such as: secondary data analyses, literature reviews, evaluation syntheses and meta-analyses, and background papers, including those needed for congressionally mandated activities.

As needed and appropriate, contractors engaging in any of the activities listed above, may at AHRQ’s request, provide technical assistance in the preparation of OMB clearance packages under the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995 (PRA).
