USAMMDA has a requirement for a Defense Business System (DBS) certified enterprise Medical Product Management, Financial Management, and Acquisition Integrated Planning Tool.
The system will allow managers of Army and Department of Defense (DoD) acquisition programs to plan and manage programs and to document and maintain complete and accurate data for planning and executing resources.
- The system shall meet the U.S Code 10 USC 2222 Defense Business System certification and other DoD IT regulations such as but not limited to:
- DoDI 5000.75 Business Systems Requirements and Acquisition,
- DA PAM 25-2-14, Risk Management Framework for Army Information Technology,
- DODI 8510.01, Risk Management Framework (RMF) for DoD Information Technology (IT),
- National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Special Publication 800–37, Risk Management Framework for Information Systems and Organizations: A System Life Cycle Approach for Security and Privacy,
- AR 25-2, Army Cybersecurity, and
- DoD Directive 8500.01E, “Information Assurance (IA).
- The system shall utilize FISMA Moderate level of security.
- The system shall have the capability to capture acquisition data, in accordance with DoD 5000, used to support Medical Product Development, acquisition, and modernization.
