Press Release: CNHS providing data support for Defense Health Agency

“Cherokee Nation Healthcare Services recently received the award of contract HT0015-18-C-0005 with the U.S. Department of Defense’s DHA to provide Standard Table Support throughout the agency’s Military Heath System.”

“During the five-year contract, the tribally owned company is performing quality assurance checks to ensure the accuracy of data table updates and supporting systems and interfaces currently interacting with the Armed Forces Health Longitudinal Technology Application and the Composite Health Care System, one of the largest medical information systems worldwide…”

“Standard Tables Support includes health analytics workflow processes used to mitigate risks and gauge impact of code set release to both direct care and purchased care systems. CNHS’ solutions will better inform senior MHS personnel while also supporting post-decision monitoring and its effects.”

“CNHS, a subsidiary of Cherokee Nation Businesses, is maintaining each code set applied within numerous systems, including the previously mentioned CHCS and AHLTA, as well as the Coding and Compliance Editor and Armed Forces Billing and Collection Utilization Solution. The tribal company may also support MHS GENESIS, a new electronic health record that provides enhanced secure technology to manage health information as well as other related systems in the future…” Read the full press release here.
