Federal News Network: NIH STRIDES aims to standardize, increase access to biomedical data

“Biomedical researchers, like all scientists, rely on data. The more accessible and standardized the data, the faster and better research can take place. That’s in part the idea behind a National Institutes of Health information technology initiative known as Science and Technology Research Infrastructure for Discovery, Experimentation and Sustainability, or STRIDES. For details, NIH chief information officer Andrea Norris spoke with Federal Drive with Tom Temin.”
