The incumbent serves as the Executive Director (ED) for Information Technology Program Integration (ITPI) and Chief of Staff (CoS) and reports to the Assistant Secretary for Information and Technology (AS/IT) and Chief Information Officer (CIO) in OIT.”
“Responsibilities
- Represents the AS/IT in a wide range of IT matters, including consideration or implementation of policies, practices, cybersecurity, or other operational and management activities.
- Facilitates technical advisory services, communication, coordination and planning with offices subordinate to the AS/IT and coordinates such with Deputy Assistant Secretaries, Deputy CIOs, and other appropriate officials.
- Coordinates office activities with top management of the Department, and other elements including other agencies in the executive branch. Represents OIT to customers, partners, and key stakeholders to help advance and advocate technological developments; foster innovation, productivity and performance; and participate in information technology executive councils and governance activities.
