HHS SAMHSA posts Supervisory IT Specialist, CIO – Division of Technology Management job

“As the Chief Information Officer and DTM Director, you are responsible of exercising the full range of administrative and technical supervisory duties of the Division staff as needed; providing day-to-day supervisor of staff and oversight of contract staff.”

“Specifically, you will:

Provide expert technical advice, guidance and recommendations on a wide range of critical, complex and controversial IT issues.

Define goals, objectives, plans and performance measures for provided IT services.

Implement and direct a SAMHSA IT Governance structure that governs the planning, acquisition and management of the organization’s IT resources and services.

Oversee the organization’s IT participation in inter- and intra-agency workgroups and committees and serve as the SAMHSA CIO, on the HHS CIO Council, HHS Domain and the HHS/OCIO/ITIO User Council.

Oversee government and/or contractor staff in administering HHS and SAMHSA supported systems, and provided for the acquisition, design, development, testing, implementation and maintenance of new systems…” See the full job opening here.
