Army Medical plans to issue sole source award for Centralized Medical Materiel Management (CM3) implementation support

… to gauge interest in a follow on to Task Order W81XWH-08-D-0047-0028 which the Government plans to award a sole source contract to the incumbent contractor (Deloitte Consulting, LLP) to continue to provide services to support the U.S. Army Medical Command (USAMEDCOM) and the U.S. Army Medical Research Materiel Command (USAMRMC), Fort Detrick, MD, with the Centralized Medical Materiel Management (CM3) implementation support to the Army Medical Logistics Enterprise (AMLE) for the period required for completion the implementation phase (up to 4 years reflecting a 12-month base and four 12-month option periods).

Award of the follow on Task Order is required to provide for the continuation of services and support the implementation deadline set forth in the 2017 National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA17) which directs the Defense Health Agency (DHA) to assume authority, direction, and control over Military Treatment Facilities (MTFs) for healthcare provision to the Army. The award date for the follow on Task Order or Contract is expected to be no later than 30 September 2018.

Deloitte Consulting LLP is currently performing under Task Order W81XWH-08-D-0028-0047, which was awarded on 25 September 2015 for a total contract value of $1,398,878.40.

Responses are due by July 16, 2018.
