“In this capacity, the PA (ACQ) acts for the Commanding General in executing all of his/her responsibilities for overall acquisition of new medical modernization materiel to include development, procurement, and fielding activities. Provides executive-level oversight, management, and analysis of the USAMRMC and Defense Health Program (DHP) medical materiel development and acquisition investment strategy to enable responsive and comprehensive planning, programming, budgeting, and sustaining of a broad based development and acquisition program; ensuring responsive focus on medically-related war-fighter materiel needs; integration with emerging concepts of continuity of health care for the full spectrum of military operations; and ensuring a viable development and manufacturing infrastructure to support those needs and concepts.
