The FDA has issued an RFI and intends to issue an IDIQ related to a cloud-based genomics platform and full lifecycle IT services to develop and maintain a collaborative web-based portal software to be called precisionFDA. A beta-release of precisionFDA with over 2,700 community members from around the world is currently publicly available.
This scope of this contract encompasses design, development, installation, integration, testing, and maintenance services to produce the precisionFDA system and ensure it is operational.
“For the task orders released under this contract, the Contractor shall provide task order level project management to establish control, management, monitoring and notification mechanisms, ensuring that contracted tasks stay on track to meet approved task schedule and goals. For each task order, the Contractor shall prepare a Task Order Management Plan describing the technical approach, organizational resources, risk management, quality control/assurance and other management controls to be employed to meet the cost, performance and schedule requirements throughout task order execution…”
