The selectee for this position will serve as a Supervisory Contract Specialist (Chief of Contracting Office) in the Component Acquisition Executive (J4) providing direct support to the Program Executive Office (PEO) for Defense Healthcare Management Systems (DHMS) of DEFENSE HEALTH AGENCY.

Duties

The successful selectee will perform the following duties:

  • Serve as the principal business advisor to the PEO DHMS on all procurement and contracting matters related to the economy and efficiency of the assigned acquisition category (ACAT) IAM and III programs.
  • Develop recommendations to solve problems, providing impact of programmatic decisions throughout the DHA and the DoD.
  • Serve as a contracting officer with unlimited warrant, having complete authority for all contractual actions to support all phases of the program including initial planning, implementation, testing, integrated logistics support, software support, technical data, off-line product improvement, sustaining engineering, training, equipment and materials… Read More.
