Newest T4NG Prime, Insignia, seeks VP to lead growth

The VP, Business Development will be responsible for business development in the VA and Federal markets.  Will lead the new business development efforts as the client executive with a primary strategic focus on positioning and capturing opportunities within the VA. Knowledge of and experience with senior points of contacts/officials within VA is required and needs a strong background and demonstrated experience in sales and business development, particularly working with senior level decision-makers. The candidate will have a unique ability to build relationships and develop networks, along with highly developed account management skills.

The VP, Business Development is responsible to research and assess customer needs and pain points, conduct competitive analyses, evaluate corporate capabilities against opportunity requirements, create and execute win strategies, lead teaming/partnering strategy, and specify pricing strategies.  Must be able to define and articulate a comprehensive solution, including technical, management, and pricing, to meet client needs or requirements.  Must have exceptional strategic thinking skills and the ability to define, describe, and document strategies.  Must possess exceptional writing and communications skills, and have the ability to contribute to proposal writing in a variety of areas.  Must possess the right blend of business development, project management, and information technology traits.   Will lead and build the Business Development team. G2X TAKE: Part of the last group of awardees on T4NG, it has almost certainly been a hectic summer for this SDVOSB as they played catch up while dealing the onslaught of tasks. With the fiscal year closing, the move to add a senior exec to support growth should only help Insignia as they prepare for a busy FY17.
