VA taps Chief of Systems Intake and Prioritization

Former Chief of Systems Planning and Operations, Jose “Pepe” Cervantes, has transitioned to the role of Chief of Systems Intake and Prioritization at the Department of Veterans Affairs. In his previous position, he led a large team of program and project/product managers, focusing on strategic planning and the implementation of IT priorities and systems enhancements to improve functionality through automation.

Jose is recognized as a people-driven leader with a proven track record of delivering tangible outcomes and driving high levels of employee engagement within his teams. Jose’s skillset includes automation, product management, leadership, strategic planning, and change management. His strength lies in cultivating a culture of excellence while developing employees for their next opportunities to serve Veterans.
