CDC taps Chief Security Architect

Christopher Carl, a highly motivated Engineering and Security leader, has taken on a new role as the Chief Security Architect at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Christopher is a goal-oriented, self-starter with over 20 years of IT experience. He has skillfully engineered, architected, and managed complex installations and implementations. Christopher has a strong history of SLA fulfillment, product delivery, and risk management within cross-functional teams.

Prior roles include:

  • Cybersecurity Education Mentor – Thinkful
  • Cybersecurity Principal – Discover Financial Services
  • Multi-role: Security Engineering and Compliance Lead, Information System Security Officer, ISSO – FAA
