Brig. Gen. Norman West, a military and health leader with over 25 years of leadership experience has taken on a new role at the Defense Health Agency as Chief of Staff. In this new role, Norman will synchronize and manage all DHA-wide tasking and coordinating actions which will ensure the Agency’s ability to exercise authority, direction, and control of the Military Health System.
Prior roles include:
- Surgeon General, Air Mobility Command – US Air Force
- Commander, Task Force Medical – Afghanistan and Commander, Craig Joint Theater Hospital – US Air Force
- Command Surgeon, Air Force District of Washington – US Air Force
