Description:
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Office of Information and Technology (OI&T), Software Product Management (SPM) Health Services Portfolio (HSP) Healthcare Environment and Logistics Management (HELM) Product Line requires software maintenance for International Business Machines (IBM) Maximo software products currently in use at the VA. A perpetual upgrade is also required to the Cloud-based version of Maximo; Maximo Application Suite (MAS).
- The Contractor shall provide one (1) telephone number and/or a point of contact for VA to contact and open maintenance service calls.
- Contractor shall provide secure connection capabilities for the downloading of software updates and/or the uploading of diagnostic information. The preferred protocol for transfer is Secure File Transfer Protocol (SFTP) or by the IBM Passport Portal. This requirement is for original equipment manufacturer (OEM) standard software maintenance and support by telephone, email, and online with 24 hour seven (7) days a week coverage, as identified in the table below.
- The Contractor shall provide to the Government monthly pricing for the existing Maximo version conversion until such time as the upgrade to the Cloud-based MAS version can be completed, or a prorated cost for current-version licensing applied to MAS perpetual upgrade cost. The version of Maximo currently in use at VA reaches its end of life in Fiscal Year (FY) 2025, the VA plans to migrate to the MAS sometime in FY24 or FY25.
- The Contractor shall complete the Deliverable Support Information (DSI) form for maintenance support through the AACLicense@VA.GOV mailbox. Deliverables shall include updated software licensing information and instructions on how to place service requests. Details specified in table below Payment of invoices will not be made without proper distribution of the deliverables.
