US Army Medical Command seeking Chief, Systems Integration Branch

Serves as the Chief, Systems Integration Branch in the Headquarters Health Information Technology (HIT) Directorate, within the Chief Medical Information Office Division, located in Falls Church, Virginia

Duties

  • Responsible for the planning, designing, acquisition, testing, training, and implementation of Military HealthSystem (MHS) Health Information Systems (HIS), starting from concept and exploration and continuing through the development for support.
  • Provides guidance and oversight of all MEDCOM facilities integrating new and sustained information, technology and systems.
  • Serves as Functional Representative/Liaison at all levels to include the Army and other Services.
  • Ensures business methodologies and clinical practices are complete and accurately displayed in the system and effectively integrated into the patient database across the continuum of care.
  • Serves as a direct supervisor, exercising the full range of personnel management responsibilities.
  • Researches, interprets, analyzes, and applies proper guidelines, policies, regulations, etc., in planning goals and objectives.
