CMS Sources Sought: Customer Support Front End System (CSFES)

Description

The purpose of this contract is to procure contractor services for processing files for four (4) front-end Information Technology systems. The Customer Support Front End Systems (CSFES) are:

  1. Front-End Risk Adjustment System (FERAS)
    1. The contractor verifies the credentials of the submitter/trading partner
    2. The contractor edits and validates the files
    3. The contractor returns files to the submitter/trading partner
    4. The contractor sends files to downstream system
    5. The contractor receives files from the downstream systems to return to the submitter/trading partner
  2. Prescription Drug Front-End System (PDFS)
    1. The contractor verifies the credentials of the submitter/trading partner
    2. The contractor edits and validates the file type
    3. The contractor returns files to the submitter/trading partner
    4. The contractor sends files to downstream systems
    5. The contractor receives files from the downstream systems to return to the submitter/trading partner
  3. Encounter Data System Front-End System (EDFES)
    1. The contractor verifies the credentials of the submitter/trading partner
    2. The contractor edits and validates the file type
    3. The contractor returns files to the submitter/trading partner
    4. The contractor edits and translates the Accredited Standards Committee (ASC) X12 files to flat files
    5. The contractor sends files to downstream systems
    6. The contractor receives files from the downstream systems to return to the submitter/trading partner
  4. Medicare Medicaid Plans (MMP) Front-End System (MMFS)
    1. The contractor verifies the credentials of the submitter/trading partner
    2. The contractor edits and validates the file type…
